Stanbridge Nursing students were honored with a pinning ceremony celebrating the completion of their nursing program and welcoming their first steps into the nursing profession. The graduating cohort was presented with professional pins by their loved ones, signifying the completion of their studies and their commitment to their profession and patients. Graduates recited the Nightingale Pledge as they participated in a traditional lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing the lamp famously carried by Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, as she made her nighttime rounds. "With a 95% 5-year average pass rate for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination, students are prepared to take the next step in their nursing careers. "Stanbridge faculty are incredibly proud of our dedicated students," stated Sabir Uddin, VN Program Director. "We look forward to seeing the impact they will make as nurses with the hands-on learning and experience they've gained at Stanbridge." The inaugural Master of Science in Occupational Therapy cohort at the Riverside campus, MSOTRS001, recently participated in the 2023 Stanbridge University White Coat Ceremony and Academic Showcase on July 28. The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage in each student's journey towards a healthcare career before they move onto Level II fieldwork to gain competency in entry-level practice. It celebrates their dedication to helping clients, commitment to holistic care, and fostering community between peers, faculty, and practicing occupational therapists. The day's Academic Showcase was an opportunity for students to present their thesis projects. Students had the opportunity to share their work and discuss its impact on patient care. These presentations highlighted a variety of topics ranging from cultural humility in occupational therapy curriculum design, therapeutic gardening, and robotics in special needs interventions.

Stanbridge University Student Leaders took their skills to the next level at the 2023 Stanbridge University Student Leadership Summit.
